Facebook has been in the news alot lately - signing partnership deals with Microsoft and RIM - and also for the launch of its new advertising and business services.
For some more background reading, one of my favorite blogs - Future of Real Estate Marketing - written by Joel Burslem, has some excellent coverage of Facebook and its real estate implications/applications like his posts on Marketing Yourself with Facebook Flyers and Advertising Your Real Estate Business on Facebook.
Recently, TypePad unveiled a Facebook feature for it's blogs (like this one) that allows you publish your posts directly from your blog to your Facebook profile, where it's shown on your mini-feed and news feed.
This will be a really great feature for real estate agents that use TypePad and Facebook. Publish your listings on your blog - and get the Facebook exposure through your profile.
Couple this with the new Facebook for BlackBerry Smartphone software announced a few weeks ago...
...and voila! - a Mobile Listings Network.
Disclaimer: This is just a theory. Don't own a BlackBerry, still testing the Facebook waters, and I have yet to try the new TypePad feature.
But it sounds promising...
